Amazon will not pull antisemitic movie promoted by Kyrie Irving, says Jewish CEO
BY ANDREW LAPIN DECEMBER 1, 2022 2:33 PM
(JTA) – Bucking weeks of public pressure from Jewish groups, celebrities and the Brooklyn Nets, Amazon will not stop selling an antisemitic documentary on its service that was promoted by NBA star Kyrie Irving.
The company’s CEO Andy Jassy, who is Jewish, said Wednesday that Amazon had no plans to remove or add a disclaimer to “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America,” whose Amazon link Irving ignited a firestorm by tweeting about it earlier this month. Amazon had previously considered whether to add a disclaimer.
“As a retailer of content to hundreds of millions of customers with a lot of different viewpoints, we have to allow access to those viewpoints, even if they are objectionable — objectionable and they differ from our particular viewpoints,” Jassy told the audience at the New York Times DealBook Summit.
Jassy drew a distinction between the film, which promotes antisemitic conspiracy theories about the relationship between Jews and Black people, and content that he said “actively incites or promotes violence or teaches people how to do things like pedophilia.” With the latter, he said, decisions to remove content are “more straightforward.”
The e-commerce giant had been internally debating whether to remove the film for weeks, according to reports in Variety. It had been uploaded to the site independently via a program called Prime Direct, which allows user-generated content to be sold on the site’s streaming services.
Irving’s tweet — which shared an Amazon link to the documentary without further comment — came on the heels of more explicitly antisemitic behavior from rapper Kanye West and sparked the ire of the Anti-Defamation League and the Nets, who eventually solicited an apology from the athlete. Nike ended a sponsorship deal with Irving following the tweet. Black Hebrew Israelites, a group whose ideology is promoted in the film, rallied to Irving’s defense.
But critics ranging from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith to Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan questioned why Amazon was escaping scrutiny for providing the film on its platform.
The ADL has since called on Amazon to do so, and was joined by the American Jewish Committee and a chorus of entertainment figures including Jewish celebrities like Mila Kunis and Mayim Bialik and Jewish studio managers like Haim Saban and Ben Silverman.
According to the Variety report, the ADL’s activism may have been one reason why Amazon declined to take action, as it would be “difficult from an optics perspective,” the outlet wrote, to bow to the demands of a Jewish group amid so many public figures declaring that Jews control the media.
Amazon has in the past removed books promoting pedophilia from its site after news reports, and after the Jan. 6, 2021, attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol it removed the white-supremacist novel “The Turner Diaries,” which contains violent antisemitic fantasies and is often used as a hate-group recruiting tool.
After briefly banning Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” in 2020, the site then reinstated it while adding a disclaimer to the version sold on its site reading, “As a bookseller, we think it is important to offer this infamous work because of its historical significance and educational role in the understanding and prevention of anti-Semitism.” This version of the manifesto also includes an introduction written in the 1990s by the ADL.
Jassy’s position on the film is the latest example of major tech leaders debating their hands-off stances when it comes to moderating antisemitic content on their sites. In 2020, Meta’s Jewish CEO Mark Zuckerberg pledged to remove Holocaust denial from Facebook, reversing an earlier stance that said it wasn’t the company’s place to do so. More recently, newly minted Twitter CEO Elon Musk has taken steps to loosen previous restrictions of antisemitic content on the social media site, including by reinstating Kanye West’s account.

UN Declares War on ‘Dangerous’ Conspiracy Theories: ‘The World Is NOT Secretly Manipulated By Global Elite’
August 7, 2022 James Fetzerblog
VIA : NEWSPUNCH.COM
[Editor’s note: Bullshit is bullshit, even when it comes from a source such as the UN. For antidotes to nonsense, check out my publications (available on-line): “Thinking about ‘Conspiracy Theories’: 9/11 and JFK” and “What’s Wrong with Conspiracy Theories?”. Then watch “How to Spot a False Flag (Part 1)” and “How to Spot a. False Flag (Part 2)” and evaluate the evidence. This is an embarrassing development that all-but-discredits the UN as having a voice in international affairs. It has hereby discredited itself.]
The United Nations has declared war on conspiracy theories, describing the rise of conspiracy thinking as “worrying and dangerous”, and providing the public with a toolkit to “prebunk” and “debunk” anybody who dares to suggest that world governments are anything but completely honest, upstanding and transparent.
The UN also warns that George Soros, the Rothschilds and the State of Israel must not be linked to any “alleged conspiracies.”
UNESCO has teamed up with Twitter, the European Commission and the World Jewish Congress to launch the campaign dubbed #ThinkBeforeSharing: Stop the spread of conspiracy theories.
The UN wants you to know that events are NOT “secretly manipulated behind the scenes by powerful forces with negative intent” and if you encounter anybody who thinks the global elite are conspiring to consolidate power and dictate global events, you must take action.
According to UNESCO, “if you are certain you have encountered a conspiracy theory” on the internet then you must “react” immediately post a relevant link to a “fact-checking website” in the comments.
(Never mind the fact that “fact checkers” are mostly untrained and unqualified hacks performing “fact checks” from the comfort of their bedroom in between posting far-left political content on personal blogs and getting high.)
UNESCO also provides advice for anyone who encounters a real live conspiracy theorist in the flesh. According to the UN agency, you must not under any circumstances be lured into an argument with the conspiracy theorist. “Any argument may be taken as proof that you are part of the conspiracy and reinforce that belief” and the conspiracy theorist will probably “argue hard to defend their beliefs.”
Instead you must show “empathy”, avoid “ridiculing them”, and if you are a journalist you must “report” them to social media and “contact your local/national press council or press ombudsman.”
Remarkably, hidden in the fine print, UNESCO admits that conspiracy theories do exist. Under the heading “What is a real conspiracy?” the United Nations bureaucrats explain that “real conspiracies large and small DO exist.”
According to the UN, it’s only a REAL conspiracy theory if it’s “unearthed by the media.”
“They are more often centered on single self-contained events, or an individual like an assassination or a coup d’etat. They are unearthed by whistleblowers and the media, using verifiable facts and evidence.”
There is just one problem with the UN’s definition of a “real” conspiracy theory. The media has been fully bought and paid for by the elite. And it’s the elite who are conspiring against the masses.
Ask yourself, when was the last time the media unearthed a conspiracy?
Also ask yourself, when was the last time the media covered up a conspiracy?

World Jewish Congress, UNESCO, European Commission, Twitter launch digital resources to counter COVID-19 conspiracy theories

NEW YORK – The World Jewish Congress is joining the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in launching a series of accessible, comprehensive visual learning resources to raise awareness of the existence and consequences of conspiracy theories linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. The resources address how to recognize conspiracy theories, understand what drives them, refute them with facts, and respond effectively to those who are spreading them. #ThinkBeforeSharing is a partnership among UNESCO, the WJC, Twitter, and the European Commission.
World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder said of the partnership effort, “UNESCO has demonstrated great leadership in countering dangerous misinformation about the COVID-19 public health crisis, and I commend Twitter and the European Commission for using their powerful platforms to help amplify strategies to share facts about this disease and its roots. We have seen a troubling rise in antisemitic and xenophobic conspiracy theories since the start of the pandemic, which pose great threat to those they attack. People need to know how to identify conspiracies and shut down the spread in order to disseminate the truth.”
In an UNESCO release, UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay underlined the dangers of misinformation and rumors in relation to the pandemic and other issues. “Conspiracy theories cause real harm to people, to their health, and also to their physical safety. They amplify and legitimize misconceptions about the pandemic, and reinforce stereotypes which can fuel violence and violent extremist ideologies,” she said.
The infographics, available in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish, are being disseminated on social media via the hashtag?#ThinkBeforeSharing,?UNESCO MIL CLICKS social media pages,?and through the European Commission’s?website on fighting disinformation.
Ve?ra Jourová, Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, said, “Disinformation and conspiracy theories harm the health of our democracies – this has been made very clear in the context of a global pandemic. Citizens must be equipped with useful tools to recognize and debunk them. To support citizens, public institutions need to work together and with digital platforms, media professionals, fact checkers and researchers, as the European Commission and UNESCO are doing.”

Deep State cover up: Twitter was a subsidiary of the FBI, and CIA is still hiding “those files” 60 years later

It’s the coverup that matters
Part II in the “United States of the FBI”
Matt Taibbi is reading through the TwitterFile emails between the FBI and Twitter and found strangely petty and detailed requests which reveal much more than you might think. The FBI were sending through requests to ban trivial no-name accounts who just posted jokes. They were also asking for their “location information” of people posting the jokes. The overreaction shows how entangled Twitter was with the FBI on day to day operations, but also reveals the hot button priority topic the FBI was so concerned about was election “misinformation”. What are the FBI most afraid of?
“a surprisingly high number [of emails] are requests by the FBI for Twitter to take action on election misinformation, even involving joke tweets from low-follower accounts.
Federal intelligence and law enforcement reach into Twitter included the Department of Homeland Security, which partnered with security contractors and think tanks to pressure Twitter to moderate content.
It’s no secret the government analyzes bulk data for all sorts of purposes, everything from tracking terror suspects to making economic forecasts.
The #TwitterFiles show something new: agencies like the FBI and DHS regularly sending social media content to Twitter through multiple entry points, pre-flagged for moderation.
They were even trying to ban some people just from saying “”Get out there and Vote Wednesday”. Taibbi asks: This, is what the FBI spends time on? […]
Instead of chasing child sex predators or terrorists, the FBI has agents — lots of them — analyzing and mass-flagging social media posts. Not as part of any criminal investigation, but as a permanent, end-in-itself surveillance operation. People should not be okay with this.
Apparently the FBI justifies this intervention”:
“The FBI regularly engages with private sector entities to provide information specific to identified foreign malign influence actors’ subversive, undeclared, covert, or criminal activities. “
To which Matt Taibbi says it was not about crime but about about controlling opinions:
“This FBI response is disingenuous on multiple fronts. None of this expains flagging the silly jokes of ordinary Americans with low follower counts. Also, they are clearly not doing this in service of investigating crime. This is about domestic intelligence and opinion control.”
The collusion was comprehensive. The FBI delivered up “products” from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Twitter team could received reports via something called the Partner Support Portal, an outlet created by the Center for Internet Security, a partner organization to the DHS. They could also get reports from “Teleporter” which is an FBI platform. There is a string of three letter acronym agencies in contact with Twitter, including demands to know why Twitter didn’t take action on a tweet from Donald Trump (you know, The President).
In summary, Matt Taibbi says:
.he takeaway: what most people think of as the “deep state” is really a tangled collaboration of state agencies, private contractors, and (sometimes state-funded) NGOs. The lines become so blurred as to be meaningless.
Speaking of Deep State revelations…
Why are the CIA still hiding files 60 years later?
In 1992 Congress decided the JFK files should be released in 2017, but the files remain locked, even though everyone named in them is dead. The Trump administration promised the files would be released, but Mike Pompeo, director of the CIA, applied intense pressure and they were not released. Today the Biden administration did the same. Tucker Carlson asked someone who has seen them:
We spoke to someone who had access to these still hidden CIA documents, a person who was deeply familiar with what they contained. We asked this person directly, “Did the CIA have a hand in the murder of John F. Kennedy, an American President? And here’s the reply we received verbatim. Quote,
The answer is yes. I believe they were involved. It’s a whole different country from what we thought it was. It’s all fake.
It’s hard to imagine a more jarring response than that. Again, this is not a “conspiracy theorist” that we spoke to. Not even close. This is someone with direct knowledge of the information that once again is being withheld from the American public. And the answer we received was unequivocal.
Even Carlson was shocked:
It means that within the US government, there are forces wholly beyond democratic control. These forces are more powerful than the elected officials that supposedly oversee them. These forces can affect election outcomes. They can even hide their complicity in the murder of an American president. In other words, they can do pretty much anything they want.
They constitute a government within a government mocking, by their very existence, the idea of democracy.
If it’s true, then the CIA decided who the President of America was, and that was 60 years ago. The JFK files become a kind of Schrodinger Box. To see them is to know they can’t be spoken of. If a President opened those files, and if the evidence is there, what President would release them?
Who would risk the ire of an agency they thought had killed a President and gotten away with it?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr retweeted the Tucker Carlson video tonight saying:
The most courageous newscast in 60 years. The CIA’s murder of my uncle was a successful coup d’état from which our democracy has never recovered. @TuckerCarlson
Meanwhile, corruption is everywhere:
Currently news is coming in of suitcases loaded with cash being paid to Members of the European Parliament. It’s so bad, they are going straight to jail, “for a week”, and possibly a lot longer after the trial.
The backlash has been swift. Over the weekend, Kaili was stripped of her responsibilities as vice president, expelled from her party both in Greece and Brussels, and saw Greek prosecutors freeze her assets.
At least there is still some hope justice will be done, for common criminals if not for the criminal investigators.

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt told The Breakfast Club in a stunning slip-up that he organized the cancelation of Kanye “Ye” West because “if we don’t get him” then the “myth” of Jewish power will spread.
“What do you say to people who say that, you know, y’all are proving somebody like Kanye right because Kanye says, ‘Hey Jewish people have all the power’ and then he loses everything?” Breakfast Club host Charlamagne asked Greenblatt in an interview released Wednesday.
“Well look, the insidious nature of anti-Semitism and these tropes about power is Kanye can say these things, ‘Jews have all the power they’re controlling everything’ and if we don’t get him–,” Greenblatt responded before quickly correcting himself, “you know, if we don’t deal with that–, the myth spreads and it takes root.”
You can watch the full exchange below at the 46:00 mark.
The entire interview is worth the watch if you want to see a masterclass in gaslighting.
Greenblatt opened the interview by telling the story of how the ADL was formed in response to the lynching of Leo Frank but left out the part about how Frank raped and murdered a 13-year-old girl named Mary Phagan, whom he had working at his pencil factory as a child laborer, and then tried to frame a black guy for the crime.
Greenblatt claims it’s a myth Jewish groups have power but then goes on to say how the ADL can phone up the FBI any time they like and the FBI calls them when incidents concerning Jews being the potential victims of crimes take place (the FBI won’t respond to formal letters sent to them by GOP congressmen and senators but they have Greenblatt on speed dial).
Greenblatt said how the ADL was the driving force behind the civil rights movement and marched with Martin Luther King but left out how they spied on him.
He said that the ADL is “one of the largest providers in America of anti-bias, anti-hate content in schools” and reach “three and a half to four million kids in schools” every year but left out that they’re teaching kids that only white people can be racist.
He claimed that “Jewish people are the most victimized religious minority in the country” because “60% of all the religious based hate crimes target Jews” but left out how the FBI doesn’t care about anti-Christian hate crimes and often doesn’t even bother to investigate them.
Asked where the “stereotype” that “Jewish people control the media” comes from, Greenblatt said it comes from “old tropes about Jews and power.”
“Are there some Jewish media executives? Sure there are. Do Jews control the media? Not as far as I know,” Greenblatt said.
If you’re as powerless as you claim, Greenblatt, why did you write a letter in 2018 threatening the entire country of Iceland that if they dare to ban circumcision (male child genital mutilation) you’ll use your power over the media to smear their island nation as being “associated with Nazism,” “even if that association is not justified,” and destroy their tourism industry?
You issued similar threats against Adidas last month in order to get them to end their relationship with Ye.
Despite Greenblatt’s gaslighting, no one is buying his shtick.
The comments on The Breakfast Club’s interview are a sight to behold.
