Channel 7 Spotlight Documentary: Trans Regret – De-Transitioning From The Gender Agenda
===================================================

‘De-Transitioning’

The most controversial story of the year as Spotlight uncovers the irreparable damage being visited on a generation of confused kids wrongly diagnosed as transgender.

On Sunday 3rd September 2023, Channel 7’s ‘Spotlight’ program aired a documentary on trans ‘regret’ that has sparked heated debate online. The TV documentary advertised as being the “most controversial” of the year has had avid cult members of the trans propaganda rage online with accusations of its portrayal of trans rights issues as “misinformation”.

The 7 News Spotlight special De-Transitioning aired on Sunday night following days of heated debate over claims on the program children were being told to “change” genders and parents are secretly left out of their own children’s care as well as being demonized and vilified when trying to ask questions and raise concerns about their well-being.

Andrews Government grooming children
Andrew Bolt

April 15, 2016 – 9:01AM

Well put by The Australian. Children are being groomed by Victoria’s Andrews Government:

The sexualisation of children is not a method of domestic violence prevention. At worst it is an insidious form of abuse, often used by pedophiles to groom their victims. Yet Daniel Andrews’s government has funded another program in schools that encourages adults to sexualise children and expose them to sexually explicit materials… As education editor Natasha Bita revealed on yesterday’s front page, the Andrews government has dedicated $21.8 million to extending the Building Respectful Relationships program… Its objectives are to educate students about “gender, violence and respectful relationships” as part of “state and federal initiatives to prevent violence against women”… Despite a stated aim to work against premature sexualisation, BRR encourages explicit discussion of sexuality, including writing personal advertisements and anal sex. Lessons also cover transgenderism and deconstructing gender. Students are coached to use the gender-neutral term partner instead of boyfriend and girlfriend to be “inclusive of gay and lesbian partnerships”. The age of consent across Australian jurisdictions ranges from 16 to 17 and Unicef recommends that minors abstain from sexual activity. However, the BRR program acculturates children to sexualise themselves and their peers, presenting adolescent sexuality as the norm. Children are asked to answer: “Who do you think has responsibility for making decisions about sex and romance in your relationships?” In another, child sexual activity is assumed: “How do you work out and negotiate having sexual contact within your relationship or in your life?” The Andrews government plans to extend the program to kindergartens and primary schools… It is … unconscionable that a government would knowingly promote lessons that give effect to a dissociative response that is common to victims of child sex abuse. In a lesson supposed to provide “different perspectives on sexual intimacy”, children are used in a role-playing exercise so psychologically harmful they may need to “de-role” afterwards. In one of the lessons, teachers are warned that as a result of program content, students may have “slipped into a state of distress or disassociation”. Teachers are instructed to “de-role” children by asking them to state their names and where they are… The fashionable fronts of sexual diversity and social inclusion are no excuse for abuse.
Are Victoria’s children safe with the Andrews Government?

Angry parents challenge how California schools handle gender identity
Democrats in Sacramento might want to pay attention to it

Sep 7th 2023

Republicans promoting policies that might seem more at home in Florida have won victories on school boards in California. They are part of a pushback by parents, especially on issues around sex and gender, that makes for an unusual coalition, including some Democrats, immigrants, evangelicals and gay people. What unites them is a shared view that schools should not be allowed to keep a child’s declared gender identity secret from their parents. Hundreds of districts already have policies saying schools must do so.

School boards began taking issues into their own hands after a bill proposed by Bill Essayli, a Republican state legislator, that would have ordered schools to inform parents in such cases, did not even achieve a hearing in Sacramento in April. On July 20th, Chino Valley, a small school district 35 miles east of Los Angeles, became the first in California to pass a motion mandating that parents must be notified in such cases. On August 10th Murrieta Valley school board passed a similar motion, followed by the Anderson Unified school board. Others may follow.

Chino’s new president, Sonja Shaw, was already angry about the state’s handling of lockdown for schools, but only stood for the board last year when she was told that boys who identify as girls were allowed into her daughters’ locker room. When she objected, she says, she was shocked to learn this was permitted by law in California. Ms Shaw says she is typical of many soccer moms who were not politically engaged (“I didn’t even know what a school board was,” she adds). Republican leaders in California, sniffing an opportunity, recruited her into the party’s “Trailblazers” programme, which helps train-up newcomers. California’s superintendent of education, Tony Thurmond, attended the chaotic July board meeting in Chino to argue against the parental pushback. When he tried to speak for more than his permitted one minute, Ms Shaw had him ejected.

Some supporters of parental notification are hard-line traditionalists who do not want any mention of gay or trans issues in public schools. But plenty see the trans issue as separate from gay rights. “I voted for gay marriage,” says Ani Torosyan of gusd Parents’ Voices, a parental-rights group in Glendale that includes many Armenian immigrants. “This is not about intolerance or hatred or bigotry. It’s about not pushing a gender ideology which is not rooted in science.” She also voices a widespread frustration about priorities, and why, when her own child’s high school has just 24% of students meeting state maths proficiency levels, it is spending time and money on a “gender-ideology curriculum”.

Mustafa Umar of the Islamic Centre in Irvine says Islamic schools are now full of students who have left public ones, and that many Muslim parents, long angry at the Republicans, are considering voting for them solely because of this issue. He says activists and politicians have moved away from the “live and let live approach” of the previous generation. “Now they’re saying, we are going to insist that you must accept our ideology as being normative.”

San Francisco lawyer and former self-described “diehard liberal”, overheard teachers on Zoom referring to her 13-year-old daughter with a male name and pronouns. A few days after she complained to the school, she says Child Protective Services turned up at her house, followed the next day by the police. Ms Friday now runs the West Coast chapter of a non-partisan, non-religious group of parents called Our Duty (she estimates that three-quarters of the 1,500 members were originally Democrats). On August 28th she and a colleague launched a campaign to get three ballot initiatives on parental notification, female sports and medical treatment for minors to be put directly to voters in 2024.

Some gay people, too, are quietly voicing their concerns. Julie Lane, a lesbian from San Francisco who fought for gay rights in the 1980s, is part of a group called <http://womenarereal.org&gtwomenarereal.org. “Many of the kids being told they are trans are actually just gay,” she says. She adds that it is much harder coming out against gender ideology today than it was coming out as a lesbian in the 1980s.

Meanwhile in Sacramento, a number of bills on the issue are in their final stages in the state legislature. One makes “affirmation of gender identity” legally part of a child’s “health, safety and welfare”, causing critics to worry that a non-affirming parent may be considered dangerous to a child in custody battles. Another removes the requirement that a child must present a danger to themselves or others or be the victim of abuse before being placed in a residential shelter. A third bill, proposed in response to rowdy school-board meetings, would criminalise any parent who harasses a school official or disrupts a board meeting. To the campaigners, this looks like an attempt to silence dissenters.

Democratic politicians and supporters are starting their own pushback against the pushback. Kristi Hirst, a parent and former teacher, says the new school-board policies in places like Chino are a fearmongering tactic. “Teachers do not have nefarious intentions to keep secrets,” she said. “Nobody is doing that.” In February she set up Our Schools usa, a parents’ group looking to counter the influence of conservative groups such as Moms for Liberty. California’s attorney general, Rob Bonta, filed a lawsuit against the Chino board saying that its policy would cause the “forced outing” of trans students, thereby violating their civil rights. On September 6th a court granted his request for a temporary restraining order stopping the district from enforcing its parental notification policy until October 13th, when the case will be decided in a full hearing.

For Republicans, this looks like a gift. A group aligned with the House speaker, Kevin McCarthy, recently launched a “Blue State Project” to help Republicans compete in traditionally Democratic places. A parental revolt in California could prove helpful to their cause. Mr Essayli, the Republican assemblyman, told Democrats on August 14th: “we want the public to know what your agenda is, and we want to run on this in the next election.”

Americans are conflicted on trans rights. Almost all oppose discrimination. Yet a majority (and rising share) think gender is determined by sex at birth (a view also held by 40% of Democrats). California’s Democrats should be mindful of this before dismissing their critics as bigots. ?

Union leaders mobilizing ‘seasoned activists’ to intimidate parents ahead of the 1 Million March 4 Children protest

As support grows for the #1MillionMarch4Children protest planned for this Wednesday, union leaders and far-left activists discuss plans to deploy ANTIFA-like tactics, as well as plans to intimidate, bully, and disrupt peaceful protesters in preparation for the event.

Union leaders and far-left activists are planning to mobilize ‘seasoned activists’ in response to a protest being organized by <https://twitter.com/nlmedia11>parents and religious groups opposing radical gender ideology and sexual orientation infiltrating publicly funded schools.

Members are discussing plans to harass, intimate, and disrupt protesters with some union heads stating that ANTIFA-like tactics will be deployed in a <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ODzkGGDbWY>leaked zoom call from September 16.

The private member Zoom call was originally leaked by <http://www.cultureguard.com/>Culture Guard, a non-profit organization dedicated to upholding traditional Canadian community values.

“We’ve got a couple of seasoned activists who already said that they’re willing to go over and take some pictures of license plates,” said President of Hamilton & District Labour Council <https://twitter.com/anthonymarco>Anthony Marco. “Make sure that they know they’re being watched, that they’re not doing this in secret.”

The protest, planned for September 20, has gone viral on social media with the hashtag <https://twitter.com/search?q=%231MillionMarch4Chidren&src=typeahead_click>#1MillionMarch4Children.

In response to parents’ growing concerns about their children’s innocence being tarnished by the school system, education unions are gearing up to counter what they call ‘hate.’

Counter-protesting is being deployed and endorsed by unions with many calling for attendees to wear face masks to “protect each other and your identity.”

The protests will take place this Wednesday, September 20 in various cities across Canada.

Far-left protesters COUNTERED the ‘1 Million March 4 Children’ protest in Montreal

‘I feel that this whole protest is out of context,’ said a concerned parent. ‘It’s nothing against the LGBTQ community. It’s really what’s going on in the schools, the indoctrination of the children, the curriculum, and what they’re teaching to our kids.’

By Alexandra Lavoie
September 21, 2023

On Wednesday, September 20, protests for the ‘<https://millionmarch4children.squarespace.com/>1 Million March 4 Children’ took place in major cities across the nation, demanding that the government cease the indoctrination of children in schools.

Thousands of people gathered in front of Premier Francois Legault’s cabinet office in Montreal where the protest was called for at 9 a.m.

Protesters advocated for the removal of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) curriculum, which also involves teaching kids about pronouns, gender ideology, and using mixed bathrooms in schools.

These protesters expressed their disagreement with the school system and the perception that parents’ voices were going unheard.

One of the protesters mentioned that the reason for her presence was because “It’s important to respect people’s individuality, their freedom of expression, their right to make decisions for their children. Nothing can be imposed on anyone, and that’s why everyone is here today.”

Unions such as CUPE and PSAC, along with other school unions and organizations, issued a call to counter-protest what they defined as “hate.”

In a leaked Zoom call from September 16, some of those members discussed plans to harass, intimidate, and disrupt protesters, with some union leaders suggesting ANTIFA-like tactics would be used.

Regarding the unions’ response, one of the ‘1 Million March 4 Children’ protesters said:

I think it’s government-funded, controlled opposition designed to demoralize the right. And I really think that’s what’s going on here.

I don’t believe this is organic. I believe this is a combination of indoctrination and government funding to make us look small and helpless. We are not.

During the demonstration, tensions ran high between the two groups of protesters. A significant police presence was deployed to ensure the situation remained peaceful.

This protest was one of the most prominent demonstrations to have taken place in Montreal in recent years.

The education system is currently in a precarious situation, with a substantial portion of the population in disagreement with the curriculum taught in schools. This disagreement shows no signs of abating; instead, the situation may potentially worsen.

When asked how parents can regain control of their child’s education within the education system, one of the protesters explained:

Protest and, in the worst-case scenario, create parallel systems, homeschool your children, form your own communities that aren’t influenced by this extreme leftist propaganda constantly being pushed on us.

Parents need to unite, create a community using their collective skills, and establish their own system to avoid subjecting their children to this madness.

During the day, individuals associated with Antifa <https://www.rebelnews.com/rebel_news_was_attacked_on_scene_in_montreal_at_1_million_march_4_children_protest> targeted Rebel Reporter Alexa Lavoie and Videographer Guillaume Roy.

Initially, Mr. Roy had primer paint sprayed all over his camera and lens, while Alexa was assaulted, and her property was almost stolen by these extremist individuals on the left.

The demonstration lasted until 2 p.m. in the afternoon. The planned march, scheduled for 11 a.m. was postponed because counter-protesters surrounded the protesters, preventing them from commencing the march.

Massive crowds of parents march in Canadian cities to protest Trudeau Liberals’ far-left gender indoctrination in schools

Those present chanted, “Leave our kids alone” in defiance of the school curriculum.

The Million Person March, or #1MillionMarch4Children, drew around 10,000 supporters to Ottawa Wednesday, while attracting a counter-protest that was partly organized by Ontario public sector unions.

The protest was just one of dozens held across Canada on Sept. 20 in order for parents to demonstrate their opposition and anger to Sexual Orientation and Gender Ideology (SOGI) in the schools. In most provinces, children under 16 can decide to change their gender or pronouns without the permission or knowledge of their parents.

Those present chanted, “Leave our kids alone” in defiance of the school curriculum.

Event organizer Kamel El-Cheikh told the crowd that gathered on Parliament Hill that New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh challenged him in the street when he “looked me in the eye” and gave El-Cheikh the evil eye hand gesture. He said he stared down Singh and returned the gesture. During his speech El-Cheikh said that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Singh bullied the blue-collar Freedom Convoy truckers “and this white-collar guy is going to make sure you all eat your words,” he said.

“We’re just starting. September 20 will be families and kids liberation day. We will be relentless. We will be unapologetic. From Victoria, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa we will defend our children and parents’ rights at all costs. Remember, we are the powerful majority. We are one nation under God. God keep our land glorious and free.”

Peoples Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier, a former foreign affairs and industry minister in the Conservative government of Stephen Harper, attended the rally and said he would continue to fight gender ideology in all of its forms. All of Canada’s major political party leaders were invited to attend the protest but only Bernier and Christian Heritage Party leader Rod Taylor attended.

El Cheikh told The Post Millennial the march was “celebrating Canada’s beauty” as the weather, a sunny and warm day in the nation’s capital, reflected his words.

“We’re gonna bring Canadians together again, because Canadians have been protesting from coast to coast organically … We brought together Protestant Christians and Catholics and evangelicals and Muslims and then they’re coming together to protect Canada’s kids. Isn’t that lovely?”

Pastor Rene McIntyre, who was one of the speakers for the day, praised the way that El-Cheikh had ensured that all faiths were represented in the march and told TPM, We’re standing in solidarity with this man … we’re here representing and saying [to the education system] ‘You have crossed the line and we’re not willing to put up with it anymore … children are our greatest treasure. They’re our greatest resource. It’s our responsibility to make sure that they are safe, she said.

“Let us raise our kids. We want to raise them.”

The march was supposed to begin with two hours of guest speakers but just as organizers were preparing to begin, a crowd of pro-gender ideology demonstrators arrived to stage a counter-protest. The group started yelling at the pro-parental rights protesters and police kept the two factions separated by a long line of uniformed bodies on Wellington St.

The counter-protest was inspired in part by a Zoom call on Sept. 15 where several public sector unions joined forces to “co-conspire” and attempt to thwart the Million Person March through intimidation.

Although the Ottawa Police Service told the Million Person March contingent to stay on the sidewalks and not to venture onto the street, they did not prevent the counter-protest from doing exactly that and even blocking traffic on O’Connor St.

The march began at approximately 11;15 as about 15,000 people began leaving Parliament Hill for Wellington and Elgin St.

The event attracted an impressive list of speakers: from Pastor Henry Hildebrandt, who was arrested and jailed for conducting church services in Aylmer, Ont. to Josh Alexander, the high school student who was expelled and then arrested for opposing boys in his Catholic school from using the girls’ washrooms. Former 700 Club host Laura-Lynn TylerThompson also spoke.

The crowd cheered enthusiastically for all the speakers but gave a little extra applause for Nathan Pawlowski, the son of Calgary pastor Artur Pawlowski, who was just sentenced to 60 days in jail this week for violating Covid mandates when he preached to a group of Freedom Convoy truckers at the Coutts, Alta. border crossing. Pawlowski walked free however, because the judge gave him credit for time already served in Alberta’s prisons, much of it in solitary confinement.

The younger Pawlowksi had delivered a powerful speech to the European Union Parliament in July, criticizing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s crackdown on civil liberties when he invoked the Emergencies Act against the Freedom Convoy and his war on free speech with several internet censorship bills. Nathan spoke about the experience in an exclusive interview with TPM.

Pawlowski said Wednesday that governments and school teacher unions have “made a grave mistake uniting us finally to push back, that’s what they fear the most: unity.

“That’s why they cracked down so hard on the Freedom Convoy, why they arrested my father, why they convicted him and why they wanted him in jail for giving a sermon because he was uniting Canadians. Government has no business in the education of children, none whatsoever. That decision rests with the parents and family. They have stepped too far,” he said.

“We will not accept the normalization of indoctrination, because we know throughout history that it always ends in tragedy. My parents are immigrants. They escaped communism. My great- grandparents told me about Nazism, my grandparents about communism. My parents escaped communism. The similarities are uncanny with what we are seeing in Canada today … We are in a dangerous position,” Pawlowski said.

El-Cheikh spoke last. He promised that the Million Person March would not be a one-time event but the beginning of a national movement. He has centered his political activism in the “Hands off our Kids” website at <http://www.handsoffourkids.com&gtwww.handsoffourkids.com

2.3 Hate and discrimination

Online hate and discrimination can negatively affect a person’s mental health, general well-being and online engagement. It can also, in the most extreme cases, lead to harassment and violence offline.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child General Comment 25 calls upon: “State parties to take proactive measures to prevent discrimination on the basis of sex, disability, socioeconomic background, ethnic or national origin, language or any other grounds and discrimination against minority and Indigenous children, asylum-seeking, refugee and migrant children, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex children, children who are victims and survivors of trafficking or sexual exploitation, children in alternative care, children deprived of liberty and children in other vulnerable situations.”14

The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) recognize rights to equality and non-discrimination, which can include protections against violations of the right to safety. Article 20(2) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) states that:

Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law.”15

a. Content risks1.
Hate speech
Any kind of communication in speech, writing or behaviour that attacks or uses pejorative or discriminatory language with reference to a person or a group on the basis of their inherent/protected characteristics – in other words, based on their religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, colour, ancestry, gender or other identity factor. Includes dehumanization, which targets individuals or groups by calling them subhuman, comparing them to animals, insects, pests, disease or any other non-human entity.

b. Conduct risks1. Algorithmic discrimination

A decision that results in the denial of financial and lending services, housing, insurance, education enrolment, criminal justice, employment opportunities, healthcare services or access to basic necessities, such as food and water.

It is important to acknowledge that certain practices, such as age restrictions implemented by platforms, serve as protective measures to prevent harmful interactions between unrelated adults and teenagers.

Therefore, in this as in other definitions, it is crucial to strike a balance, ensuring that while implementing such measures there is a commitment to upholding human rights principles, as emphasized in the Global Principles on Digital Safety.

Elon Musk blames ADL for lost revenue, says he’s ‘against anti-Semitism of any kind’

Elon Musk posted that he was against antisemitism Monday and blamed the Anti-Defamation League for lost advertising revenue since his acquisition of X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The tech mogul posted his stance on free speech and antisemitism seemingly out of the blue on his verified account Monday afternoon. When asked by a user who was questioning his stance, Musk alleged that the ADL has been “trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic.”

“If this continues, we will have no choice but to file a defamation suit against, ironically, the ‘Anti-Defamation’ League,” Musk wrote. “If they lose the defamation suit, we will insist that they drop the the “anti” part of their name, since obviously …”

Musk also noted that X’s advertising revenue remains down by 60% in the U.S. and alleged that advertisers have told the social media platform that pressure from the ADL is part of that decision.

The ADL said Monday that as a matter of policy, it does not comment on legal threats. A spokesperson referred NBC News to a general statement the organization made in response to a recent #BanTheADL campaign on the platform, which Musk has engaged with.

The Anti-Defamation League, formerly known as the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, was once an international Jewish non-governmental organization based in the United States that specialized in civil rights law and combats antisemitism and extremism. They used to do good work for all people. However, under their current <https://www.adl.org/who-we-are/leadership/staff/jonathan-greenblatt> CEO Jonathon Greenblatt, they have morphed into a profiteering political attack wing of Likud Zionism attempting to cancel every high-profile person and organization that does NOT tow their Likud Extremist line. They have proven time and time again that they are NO longer a civil rights organization. It’s a loss for humanity! – Johnny Punish, GM, VT

CEO Jonathon Greenblatt is on the offensive to discredit Elon Musk for being pro-free speech and not kissing his political attack wing of the Likud Zionist Party called the ADL

Musk suggested in a post on Saturday that maybe he should “run a poll” on the matter.

“Such insidious efforts don’t daunt us,” the statement said. “Instead, they drive us to be unflinching in our commitment to fight hate in all its forms and ensure the safety of Jewish communities and other marginalized groups.”

NBC News reported in November that advertisers were pulling back from the platform as companies had concerns regarding what changes Musk would make with the social media platform. Musk blamed “activist groups” for attempting to “destroy free speech in America” in a post at the time.

The comments from Musk were later given additional context by users, which linked to news articles that suggested advertisers were acting on their own accord.

X filed a lawsuit last month against a nonprofit organization that monitors hate speech and disinformation. He accused Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) of orchestrating a “scare campaign to drive away advertisers from the X platform,” according to the suit filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

The lawsuit alleges that CCDH published reports accusing the platform of failing to take action against hate speech and that the CCDH committed “a series of unlawful acts designed to improperly gain access” to the platform’s data.

Imran Ahmed, the nonprofit’s founder and chief executive, accused Musk of bullying in a statement at the time, describing the suit as “straight out of the authoritarian playbook.”

“The Center for Countering Digital Hate’s research shows that hate and disinformation is spreading like wildfire on the platform under Musk’s ownership and this lawsuit is a direct attempt to silence those efforts,” Ahmed said.

The ADL also posted a report in March accusing the platform of failing to take action against hate speech. The group’s ADL Center for Technology and Society found that only 28 percent of posts flagged for antisemitic content were taken down or sanctioned.

“While we have no way to actually verify if the company is de-amplifying antisemitic content, we have found that Twitter is failing to take down tweets that clearly violate hateful conduct policies,” the report said.

A study from Montclair State University last year showed a spike in hate speech on the platform the day after Musk took over the company in October. The terms studied included vulgar and hostile terms for individuals based on race, as well as other protected classes.

“The data conclusively shows that there is a correlation between Musk’s arrival and a broader perceived acceptability to posted hostile content on Twitter,” the university said.

In April, the social media site received backlash for seemingly stepping back from a longstanding policy that aimed to protect transgender people on the platform. Twitter had banned the targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender people since 2018, but a line referring to that ban was removed from its policy earlier this year.

GLAAD named Twitter, now X, “the most dangerous platform for LGBTQ people” in its Social Media Safety Index.
